Handmade by Rocío and her pottery collective who carry on traditions in hand thrown barro negro pottery from their legacy family member, Doña Rosa, in San Bartolo Coyotepec, Oaxaca. The Rosa family upholds the legacy of their respected matriarch, Doña Rosa Real Mateo de Nieto , a master ceramic artisan responsible for innovating the polished aesthetic, which has become iconic of the black clay pottery vessels and objects of San Bartolo Coyotepec, Oaxaca.
